Alison Perris’s career hasn’t been a ladder—it’s been a jungle gym. Throughout various industries and roles, she has consistently showcased strengths that tie deeply to her core values: connecting people, facilitating experiences, and creating platforms for engagement at the intersection of technology and social good. She began her career in Seattle as a stage manager in theatre before transitioning into concert promotion leading to a role in Music Partnerships at StubHub. While there she spearheaded the StubHub Foundation in partnership with Silicon Valley Community Foundation, transforming challenges into opportunities by leveraging returned tickets for charitable impact. With over 15 years of experience working at global brand including eBay, Old Navy, and Meta, Alison has consistently championed social impact, unearthing hidden opportunities to activate communities and support nonprofits. Three years ago, she transitioned to the nonprofit sector and now serves as the VP of Integrated Marketing, Communications & Strategic Planning for Understood.org, leading initiatives to raise awareness, drive engagement, and deliver behavioral interventions for parents of children with learning and thinking differences.
