Alison Perris’s career hasn’t followed a traditional ladder. It has been a mosaic, shaped by curiosity, purpose, and a consistent throughline of connecting people through meaningful experiences. Across industries and roles, she has built platforms at the intersection of technology, culture, and social good, grounded in her core values of community, access, and impact.
She began her career in Seattle as a stage manager in theatre after earning a BS in Theatre from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona. That early training in storytelling, production, and audience experience became the foundation for her later work in marketing, partnerships, and brand building.
She went on to move into concert promotion, which led to early roles in partnerships and business development, and ultimately into global consumer brands where live experience, narrative, and community activation were central to her work.
At eBay, Old Navy, and Meta, Alison built and led integrated marketing programs that blended brand, lifecycle, partnerships, and product storytelling to drive both growth and social impact. She later transitioned fully into the nonprofit sector, bringing a systems-driven, growth-oriented marketing lens to mission-driven work.
Alison is currently Vice President of Marketing at Kiva.org, where she leads brand, growth, and lifecycle strategy in support of Kiva’s mission to expand financial access and economic opportunity worldwide. In this role, she focuses on building durable growth engines, deepening community engagement, and translating belief into sustained participation.
